Martin Chomsky
Author of RTP Downsized and the upcoming stage play about the Birmingham Six Paddy Hill: Inside Out, Martin Chomsky will be performing a solo acoustic/spoken word set at this year's festival.
Now resident in Glasgow, Martin's career as a playwright began in his native Midlands when the award-winning No Sweat premiered at Birmingham Repertory Theatre in 2002. Prior to this he'd been influential in the West Midlands punky-reggae party of the late 1970s and early 80s, collaborating with members of The Specials and The Beat, and latterly General Public, Pop Will Eat Itself and Bentley Rhythm Ace.
