The Vibrators are back!

The Vibrators are back!

The Vibrators are punk rockers with history and attitude. “They performed the set tight, sharp, fast, loud and proud.” The Vibrators were the first punk band to be playlisted by BBC Radio 1 and have had a career spanning over 40 years with 20 released studio albums.

Their first album, Pure Mania (available to stream, in full, on YouTube) is considered one of the greatest Punk albums of all time. The Vibrators combine a spiky rock guitar sound with driving rhythms and catchy melodies, showing themselves to be masters of the 3-minute pop-punk song. Try NOT to bounce up and down to their music!

They have lost none of their vitality and swagger. This is the third time The Vibrators have played for BlakeFest - one of the rare UK fixtures between their US and European tour!

They are supported by The Boy Wonders who formed in 2017 after Jeremy Hayward watching Jo Butt perform solo live at BlakeFest - after the gig Jeremy approached Joe with, “You need a band and I’m your guitarist”. Joe was the singer-songwriter of Jumping your Datsun who supported mod icons The Jam in the 80s after Paul Weller personally invited them to play after hearing the single Dead in your Garden. The band play original music with influences such as The Killers, The Jam, The Cure, Aztec Camera, The Clash and The Smiths. The band have played throughout the South and received great reviews.
